Julian Mellor is a Top UK-based PGA Professional Golf Coach. His Proper Golfing YouTube Channel was recently ranked in the top 10% of Channels. He is the creator of the Proper Golfing Methodology and Head of Golf Tuition at the Proper Golfing Academy.

Here's his story.....
Facing the surgeons knife in his early 40's, Julian thought his golfing future was on the line. He didn't think his knee and back issues were due to his golf swing, until he started exploring different ways to swing the golf club. After discovering easier ways to play golf his health issues started to disappear. He could at last practise and play for longer and feel like he could love his golf swing once again. He set himself on a mission to introduce these principles to as many golfers as he could.
His YouTube started to take off in 2016 as people started to try his methods and really feel the impact of more enjoyable, more relaxed golf. People started coming to see him from all over the world to learn his revolutionary techniques.
Many of the top YouTube Coaches follow his lead. He is very proud that his methods have been adopted so widely.
Born and raised in the UK, Julian began playing golf at the age of 8 and quickly developed a passion for the game. He got to scratch at 16 and turned professional at the age of 19 and spent the next 20 years playing in various PGA competitive events.
The Proper Golfing Academy now offers a range of courses and coaching programs designed to help active and avid senior golfers transform their game.

Jo Cameron:
Jo is Julian's partner. She is the Academy Head of Membership Experience.
Jo is a former BBC Broadcaster. She has a Masters Degree with Distinction and a Manufacturing Engineering Degree. As a trained coach she now adds another dimension to the Academy on the mindset side of golf and wellbeing.
Over the last three decades, she has worked with clients as a consultant working on Transformation Programmes both in the public and private sectors. Academically Jo has taught on MBA Programmes at some of the UK's leading Universities and loves keeping fit, walking the family dog and supporting their teenage daughter with her entrepreneurial endeavors.
Jo and Julian met in Royal Leamington Spa when Jo went to learn to play golf in 2007. They have worked for many years together in the golf industry.
